What a year it has been! After twelve months of roadshows, thousands of miles traveled, and countless treasures discovered, we decided it was time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the people who make WeBuyVintage what it is: our incredible team.

For this year’s End of Year Celebration, we wanted to do something truly special. So, we packed our bags and headed to the magnificent Hinwick House for a night of reflection, laughter, and well-earned relaxation.

A Royal Setting

We couldn't have picked a more breathtaking venue. Nestled on the border of Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, Hinwick House is a stunning Grade I listed Queen Anne country estate. Fun fact: the house was actually modeled on the original Buckingham House—which we now know as Buckingham Palace!

Walking through the gates and seeing the estate set within 38 acres of parkland was the perfect way to leave the work year behind. From the historic Clock Tower to the ornamental lakes, every corner of the grounds felt like stepping into a period drama.

Dining in Style

The highlight of the evening was a fantastic catered dinner held in the estate's grand dining room. Surrounded by oak paneling, roaring fireplaces, and crystal chandeliers, we shared a meal and finally had the chance to sit down together not as colleagues on a busy roadshow floor, but as friends.

It was the perfect opportunity to reflect on our biggest achievements of the year - including our milestone 1000th roadshow in Beverley - and swap stories from the road. There is something special about bringing the whole team together under one roof, away from the hustle of appraisals and valuations, to simply enjoy each other's company.

A Night at the "Palace"

The best part? The night didn’t end with dinner. We invited our entire staff to stay the night in the main house's luxury suites. With 18 bedrooms, including the "Queen Victoria" and "Churchill" rooms, everyone got a taste of aristocratic living. Waking up to views of the deer park and the peaceful countryside was the ultimate recharge before we head into the holiday break.

Here’s to 2026!

We are leaving Hinwick House feeling refreshed, grateful, and closer than ever as a team.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey this year—our staff, our customers, and everyone who visited a roadshow.

We are ready to hit the ground running in 2026. See you on the road!
