A Magical Finale: Reflecting on Our Biggest Roadshow of the Year at Hinwick House

What a way to close out the year! On Thursday, December 18th, we held our highly anticipated End of Year Celebration at the breathtaking Hinwick House, and it was truly a day to remember.

As our final and biggest roadshow of the year, we wanted to do something extra special to say thank you to our wonderful community. The historic halls of Hinwick House provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with festive cheer, nostalgia, and incredible vintage discoveries.

Stepping Back in Time: Toys Through the Ages

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly our exclusive "Toys Through the Ages" exhibition. It was a joy to see so many of you walking down memory lane, exploring how childhood gifts and playthings have evolved over the decades. From Victorian dolls to mid-century mechanical wonders, the exhibition sparked countless conversations and smiles as visitors spotted toys from their own childhoods.

Festive Cheer and Vintage Treasures

To get everyone in the holiday spirit, we served up complimentary mulled wine and mince pies, ensuring that the browsing and selling were done with a warm festive glow.

The roadshow itself was busier than ever. Our experts were kept on their toes from 10:00 am right through to 6:30 pm, valuing a stunning array of items. We saw beautiful estate jewellery, rare coins, classic watches, and plenty of gold and silver. It was a pleasure to offer instant cash payments and see so many satisfied sellers walking away with extra funds just in time for Christmas.

In fact, the good people of Wellingborough ended up receiving over £60,000 at our Hinwick House roadshow!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a better crowd to wrap up 2025. Hinwick House was the perfect setting to celebrate a fantastic year of roadshows.
